Beginning her career as a corporate lawyer, Nadirsha’s experience achieving success in multinational corporations attending CEO’s and working with Human Resources is a valuable asset for Urban Health Farms. Nadirsha has also been an Administrator for Maersk Central America, the General Manager Administrative Assistant for Adidas Latin America, as well as administrative positions with Posco Daewoo Corporation, Roche Diagnostics, and the Pfizer Corporation. In addition to her valuable discretion in handling confidential matters, her experience onboarding new hires, coordinating details, and a team building planner will help UHF continue to scale efficiently.
Hydroponics & Aeroponics
UHF will select the cultivation system based on the crop types and boundary conditions of specific farms and locations. In hydroponics, nutrients can be applied in a formulated mix and concentration of liquid, allowing for quick growth using less water and fertiliser. Aeroponics, also a highly efficient cultivation method, supplies nutrients to the roots via mist. Neither method uses soil or an aggregate medium, and both systems have the unique ability to control taste by applying specific nutrients directly into the plant’s growth environment.
Natural Nutrients
Another technological advantage is the use of custom developed bacteria for use in the hydroponics irrigation system. The bacteria are formed from natural ingredients and they work to promote plant growth, taste and nutrient content. These formulas are used instead of pesticides, fungicides and herbicides, with micro-organisms applied to prevent the growth of pathogens
