INVESTMENT STRATEGIES

Urban Farms Capital has built a powerful network of financial institutions and capital firms to finance the roll out of indoor vertical farms across Europe.

Investments can be structured with the objective to create steady and predictable income streams in the form of debt instruments, such as bonds, which can be listed and traded on international stock exchanges. In addition, we plan to offer equity investments with the aim to create maximum capital growth for our investors. Alternatively, we shall consider hybrid investment instruments on which a coupon, interest or dividend is paid, but in addition an equity kicker or exit premium can be offered. Investing in Urban Health Farms can be structured in a number of ways, including:

Equity

Debt

European stock exchange listed and traded notes

Bespoke investment instruments and vehicles

As the investment and expansion strategies progress, we will release updates on the investment instruments and vehicles that will be available to private and/or professional investors. If you are interested in staying up to date on our progress and the new investment opportunities that become available, please subscribe to our newsletter.

INVESTMENT UPDATES

We are proud to announce that the first investment phase for Urban Health Farms is currently underway and will finance three Showcase Farms in France, Italy and Spain. The Showcase Farms are an exciting all-inclusive solution to entering a local market with a much lower investment while creating credibility, building an offtake network and providing a firm proof of concept.

The modular set of Showcase Farms boast the ground-breaking design of ten containers that are inter-connected, such that each Showcase Farm will provide the following:

  • 7 grow modules, attracting high ergonomics and a lower labour cost due to crop-to-operator automation. Each separate module allows for a different climate and nutrient system, allowing a mix of crops to match our requirements
  • 1 module for germination, propagation and vegetation, incorporating a 5-layer system and 50 square meter growth surface
  • 1 cold storage and delivery unit
  • 1 office and control unit

Once established within a market, and with produce selling well and consistently to local clients, Urban Health Farms can begin the transition to the larger-scale industrial size indoor vertical farms. Once the larger farms are operational, the Showcase Farms can easily be removed from their site and transported to the next location, where they can be operational immediately and ready to enter a new country and create a new market without additional capital expenditure.
